FAQ's

We help you to submit your FAFSA as correctly and efficiently as possible.  We can either fill out the FAFSA for you on our end or coach you through the FAFSA on your end.

We have clients in all 50 states plus US territories. 

All our FAFSA appointments are conducted over the phone.  You will not have to leave the comfort of your home.

No.  You will not be charged again unless you decide to purchase our service the following FAFSA school year.

No.  We do not charge extra for simple corrections.  Examples of simple corrections:  adding school codes, changing work-study preferences, updating an address or phone number. 

The average appointment is between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours.

You should have a copy of your tax return.  If the student is a dependent, we recommend that the appointment be conducted with the student as well as a parent.  Most of the information that you will need will likely be committed to memory or readily available.

It depends on which FAFSA school year:  

2021-2022 FAFSA:  2019 taxes
2022-2023 FAFSA:  2020 taxes
2023-2024 FAFSA:  2021 taxes
2024-2025 FAFSA:  2022 taxes

In order to correctly submit your FAFSA electronically, you will need a username (also known as an FSA ID) and password.  If you do not already have one, we will send you instructions on how to create one before the appointment or help you create it during the appointment.  

*** Note:  If the student is dependent, then both the student and one of the student’s parents will need an FSA ID and password.
